Bad Day for Bigfoot Project Support Page

An Eastern Oregon Filmmaker Field Tripper’s support page.

“Bad Day for Bigfoot” is a genre-bending, comedic sci-fi mystery set in the fictional Blaze County, where a Bigfoot hoax spirals out of control, leading to a chaotic clash between hoaxers, investigators, and an otherworldly phenomenon known as “The Switch Flip.” The script combines slapstick chaos with genuine mystery, romance and supernatural wonder.

The inaugural Field Trip, took place from June 23-30, 2025, and welcomed director Zach Green and writer Devin O’Rourke, the creative duo behind the feature film project “Bad Day for Bigfoot.” The two filmmakers, who previously wowed audiences with their sci-fi buddy comedy “FOIL” at #EOFF2023, returned to Eastern Oregon to scout locations, connect with the local community, and immerse themselves in the region’s unique atmosphere as they prepare to bring their latest project to life.
