BREAKUP SEASON

“Breakup Season” is a feature length film shot entirely in La Grande Oregon in the winter of 2023. Independently produced and financed, this project is proud to have the Eastern Oregon Film Festival as its non-profit fiscal sponsor.

Breakup Season Locks World Premiere


SYNOPSIS

Twenty-something Ben brings his longtime girlfriend Cassie to his rural Oregon hometown for the Christmas holiday to meet his parents and siblings for the first time. The night they arrive, an argument turns into a breakup, and the holiday goes from Xmas to Ex-mas as Cassie is now stuck with her newly minted ex and his family until the end of the holiday. Drama, comedy, and serious heartache ensue.

The screenplay for Breakup Season was developed through the Eastern Oregon Filmmaker Residency.
