Written by Devin O’Rourke and Zach Green and directed by Green, Bad Day for Bigfoot is a comedic sci-fi mystery about a Bigfoot hoax gone horribly wrong in the middle of an actual Sasquatch hotspot, leading to a chaotic struggle between hoaxers, investigators and a supernatural force that defies explanation. Rafi Jacobs of Static Films and Christopher Jennings will produce.
The project grew out of the Eastern Oregon Film Festival’s Filmmaker Field Trips Program, where the filmmakers spent time scouting locations and building connections throughout the region. (eofilmfest.com)
Beyond the excitement of filmmaking, the production represents a significant investment in Eastern Oregon. During filming, the project will utilize local lodging, restaurants, vendors, artists, tradespeople, and production support services, creating direct economic impact throughout the region.
