Eastern Oregon Film Festival director Christopher Jennings will be visiting Los Angeles for the LA premiere of Breakup Season which is November 14 at The Laemmle NOHO, at 7pm. On Saturday, November 16 at 2:30pm a special Happy Hour event for Los Angeles based EOFF filmmaking alumni will commence at Mr. Furley’s Bar followed by a screening of the film at The Laemmle in Glendale as part of the films theatrical run.

The goal of the event is to connect with filmmakers who have had their work featured in the festival’s fifteen years of programming and introduce them to Breakup Season, as a model for how EOFF would like to help bring new visions to life in The Grande Ronde Valley.

The feature film directed by H.Nelson Tracey (EOFF Alumni) created a model for which EOFF’s team and the community at large would love to replicate and invite another compelling story to be produced and shot in La Grande or the great Eastern Oregon regions. The hope is that this happy hour can give this incredibly talented group of makers a glimpse into the possibilities of production and ensuring ongoing connection with these friends.

If you are an EOFF Alumn and in the LA area but did not receive an invitation, reach out to director@eofilmfest.com or show up at the event – we can’t wait to see you!
