Artwork on display at HQ throughout #EOFF2025 and into the fall/winter season
The Eastern Oregon Film Festival (EOFF) is proud to showcase the work of Hannah Wave Flower as this year’s Festival Artist. Her collection—spanning five years of deeply personal creative evolution—will be on display at HQ (112 Depot Street) throughout the festival weekend, October 16–18, and will remain viewable through the fall and winter seasons.
In her own words, “This wall is a time capsule, holding the creative journey I have been on for the last five years.” The exhibition reveals a vivid range of portraits—from small self-sketches drawn with an office pen during the pandemic, to large, expressive works born from what she calls her “pretty strict spiritual phase.” The display traces moments of frustration, renewal, and celebration—each piece honoring the miracle that “against all odds, we actually get to live.”

Born in Kimberly, Oregon, Hannah began her artistic journey by painting faces on the walls of her childhood home—an act that foreshadowed her lifelong fascination with human expression. Today, she continues to explore emotion and identity through surreal mixed-media portraiture, using graphite, acrylic, and colored pencil to bring to life faces that invite deeper, more vulnerable conversation.
“My work is an ice-breaker into a more vulnerable conversation; an invitation to a deeper exchange of perspective and unhampered self-expression,” says the artist.
Outside the studio, Hannah is known for her humor, musical spontaneity, and signature openness—a spirit that radiates through every brushstroke.
